Senior Shuttle
Ride-On started their Senior Shuttle with door-to-door transportation for seniors 65 years and older in 2006. The program was funded through CTSA funding from the Ssan Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG). In 2018, SLOCOG redirected $250,000 of CTSA funding to Ventura Transit Services (VTS) to fund SLOCOG's Senior Go Service.
Ride-On continue to provide their Senior Shuttle service without funding from SLOCOG for ten months, but ultimately had to terminate the service due to the lack of subsidy from SLOCOG. Ride-On is still active in meeting the transportation needs of seniors. We offer same day service through our Ride-On Express Shuttle. For more information, please call Ride-On at (805) 541-8747.
